My story

I've been building software for over 15 years. I started as a web developer and, along the way, found the work I enjoy most: putting together engineering teams that work well, and designing the systems, processes and team topologies that let them grow without breaking.

Today I'm CPTO at Besage.ai, an AI startup based in Washington, D.C. Before that I spent five years at Platzi, where I started as a front-end mentor and left as Head of Product Engineering. I also created 16 courses there on web development, software and system design. In recent years I've helped startups and companies build and scale their engineering teams.

I also founded Movagain, a mobility startup for people with disabilities.

Outside of work, I've spent more than 14 years building communities and organizing tech and entrepreneurship events. I'm a Google Developer Expert and a Google-certified Design Sprint Master. I do it because I believe something simple: sharing is growing.
